Diagnostic Radiology Resident
On Saturday, September 28th, the Detroit Medical Center hosted a meet and greet with medical students interested in the diagnostic radiology residency. The event was spearheaded by Dr. Berryhill, associate program director of the diagnostic radiology residency program.
“Coming from Chicago, I was hesitant to visit Detroit for radiology residency interviews. However, all my fears were replaced with excitement after interviewing at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township which quickly felt like home,” said Dr. Berryhill.
Long Family Orchard is located down the street from Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital. The event began at 9:00 AM with apple cider and donuts. Soon after, Dr. Berryhill, several of the residents, and students walked across to the hospital and completed a tour of the radiology department.
After starting her position as the associate program director of the residency program, Dr. Berryhill said “I am now grateful for the opportunity to give back to such an influential institution in my life as the APD for the DMC/Wayne Radiology Residency Program.”
