Research

Research is an integral and required component of radiology education at DMC-WSU. Our residents are encouraged to pursue scientific questions in the basic and clinical sciences as well as quality improvement projects. Residents have access to the state-of-the-art MRI research projects through the Magnetic Resonance Research Facility (MRRF) at Wayne State University. Residents attend local, state, and national radiology meetings and regularly publish in peer-reviewed journals. All residents attend the American Institute for Radiologic Pathology (AIRP) in Silver Spring during their R3 year. Resident travel to present their research at conferences is fully funded by Graduate Medical Education.
