Why DMC Radiology?
The DMC-WSU Radiology Department is one of the largest in the country. The residents in our program take full advantage of the diverse patient care and educational environments of the hospitals of the Detroit Medical Center, as well as the academic resources available through the Wayne State University School of Medicine. With several subspecialty radiologists on staff, resident education has long been a priority at DMC. Our residents rotate through our diverse hospital sites with unique experiences at each site. All our hospital sites are in the main campus in mid-town Detroit with the exception of Sinai Grace and Huron Valley Sinai hospitals. Highlights include:

- Tertiary care subspecialty practice at Harper University Hospital
- Level 1 and 2 trauma, dedicated pediatrics, tertiary subspecialty
- In-depth experience in all aspects of emergency radiology at Detroit Receiving Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma center
- In-depth emergency radiology experience at Sinai-Grace Hospital, the busiest ER in Southeast Michigan
- Pediatric radiology training by pediatric radiologists at the Children's Hospital of Michigan, a world-class free-standing children's hospital and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma center
- Community experience
- Training in all aspects of general radiology at Sinai-Grace Hospital, one of the largest community hospitals in the state of Michigan
- Private practice community hospital general radiology experience at Huron Valley Sinai Hospital.
- Body CT and MRI training at Veterans Administration Hospital

- Breast Imaging training at Karmanos Cancer Institute (a NCI-designated cancer center), Sinai-Grace Hospital, and Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital

The MRRF, located in Harper Hospital, has a strong emphasis on education, in addition to research.
In addition to the residency program, there is an active medical student education program, as well as an ESIR Program.
